Benedict XVI School of Catechesis

Welcome to the Benedict XVI Diocesan School of Catechesis. This program is designed to help strengthen the intellectual and spiritual formation of Catholic adults.

The Benedict XVI School of Catechesis will offer a two-year program of formation, consisting of courses one Saturday per month throughout the school year. The first year will be a guided walk through the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, namely, The Profession of Faith (Creed), The Celebration of the Christian Mystery (Sacraments), Life in Christ (Commandments), and Christian Prayer. The second year will consist of Salvation History, Ecclesiology, Faith and Reason, and Church History.  

At the conclusion of two years, each student will have received 96 hours of catechetical formation and a firm foundation in the Catholic faith.
