Members of Cub and Boy Scouts in the Lincoln Diocese can earn “Light of Christ”, “Parvuli Dei”, Ad Altare Dei, and Pope Pius XII religious awards through the Catholic Committee on Scouting.
Laity and priests who support Catholic Scouting are eligible for the Saint George Emblem and/or Bronze Pelican.
A Catholic Camporee for Boy Scouts seeking the Ad Altare Dei Award is held each year in January.
A Catholic Retreat for Boy Scouts is held each July. The Rosary Patch is given to each scout completing the retreat.
Approximately twenty-two Catholic parishes in the Diocese of Lincoln are charter organizations for Cub or Boy Scout Troops.
