Clergy Assignments for the Diocese of Lincoln All assignments are effective June 17, 2013, unless otherwise noted



RETIREMENT

The Reverend Nicholas Baker retires from active ministry with residence at St. Joseph Rectory, Alma.

 

DEANS (VICARS FORANE)

The Very Reverend Thomas Lux, retaining all present assignments, is appointed Dean of the Orleans Deanery.

The Very Reverend Michael McCabe, retaining all present assignments, is appointed Dean of the Plattsmouth Deanery.

 

PASTORS and ADMINISTRATORS

The Reverend Thomas Au is appointed Pastor of St. Mary Parish, Ashland, and St. Joseph Parish, Greenwood, and is appointed to teach at Bishop Neumann Junior/Senior High School, Wahoo.

The Reverend Christopher Barak is appointed Pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Seward.

The Reverend Robert Barnhill is appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Beatrice.

The Reverend James Benton is appointed Pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish, Minden, and Holy Family Parish, Heartwell.

The Reverend Thomas Bush is appointed Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Lawrence, St. Stephen Parish, Lawrence, and Assumption Parish, Deweese.

The Reverend Loras Grell is appointed Pastor of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Plattsmouth.

The Reverend Rayappa Konka is appointed Administrator of St. John Parish, Cambridge, and St. Germanus Parish, Arapahoe.

The Very Reverend Randall Langhorst is appointed Pastor of St. Leo, Palmyra, and St. Martin Parish, Douglas, and the Vicar for Clergy.

The Reverend Steven Major is appointed Pastor of St. James Parish (Sacred Heart Church), Crete.

The Reverend Christopher Miller is appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Paul and St. Bernard Parish, Julian and is appointed to teach at Lourdes Central Catholic Schools.

The Reverend Julius Tvrdy is appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Harvard and Director of Hispanic Ministry in the Hastings-Harvard Area.

 

PAROCHIAL VICARS (ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PASTORS)

The Reverend Patrick Barvick, continuing as Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal, is appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Michael Parish, Hastings, and is appointed to teach at Hastings Catholic Schools.

The Reverend Craig Clinch is appointed to study the Spanish language during the summer in the Dominican Republic, and then to be the Parochial Vicar at Blessed Sacrament Parish, Lincoln, and is appointed to teach at Pius X High School, continuing as Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal.

The Reverend Jonathan Haschke, continuing to teach at Pius X High School and continuing to be an Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal, is appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph Parish, Lincoln, and is appointed Assistant Pro-Life Director for the Diocese.

The Reverend Dhan Raj Marneni is appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Patrick Parish, Lincoln.

The Reverend Kenneth Wehrs, continuing as Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal, is appointed Parochial Vicar at North American Martyrs Parish, Lincoln, and is appointed to teach at Pius X High School.

The Reverend Matthew Zimmer, continuing as Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal is appointed Parochial Vicar at St. Mary, David City and is appointed to teach at Aquinas/St. Mary Schools, and also appointed Diocesan Director and Chaplain of Scout Programs.

SPECIAL

The Reverend Gary Coulter is appointed Director Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House, and Co-vicar for Religious, continuing Defender of the Bond for Diocesan Tribunal.

The Very Reverend Jeffrey Eickhoff is appointed Rector of Saint Gregory the Great Seminary.

The Reverend Sean Kilcawley is appointed Director of Religious Education, Assistant Diocesan Master of Ceremonies, and to be a teacher at Pius X High School with residence at Cathedral of the Risen Christ Rectory.

The Reverend Thomas MacLean, retaining all present assignments, is appointed Diocesan Director of Catholic Cemeteries.

The Reverend Daniel Rayer is relieved of the duties of Master of Ceremonies and Cathedral responsibilities, while continuing as Chancellor, Judge on the Diocesan Tribunal, and all other present assignments.

The Reverend Rafael Rodriguez is relieved of the duties of Parochial Vicar, continuing all other assignments with his residence at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Seward.

The Reverend Gerald Rush, O.F.M. is released from his duties, and will be returning to his Community.

The Reverend Monsignor Daniel Seiker is released from the service of the Diocese of Lincoln for the Academic Year 2013-2014 as Chaplain for Wyoming Catholic College.

The Reverend Leo Seiker, retaining all present assignments, is appointed Director of the Diocesan Pro-Life Office.

The Reverend Lawrence Stoley is appointed Academic Dean for Saint Gregory the Great Seminary, with residence at the Seminary.

The Reverend John Sullivan, retaining all present assignments, is appointed Delegate for the Bishop for Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital.

The Reverend Michael Zimmer is relieved of the duties of Parochial Vicar, and is appointed Diocesan Master of Ceremonies, also appointed Director of the Charity and Stewardship Appeal with residence at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, continuing as teacher at Pius X High School and Advocate on the Diocesan Tribunal.
