Sister Mary Regina CMRM Professes Final Vows

LINCOLN (SNR) – Sister Mary Regina Lê Thi Y´ên Phuong, C.M.R.M., made her perpetual profession of vows at a special Mass celebrated by Bishop Fabian W. Bruskewitz Saturday, June 5.

The sisters of the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Mercy, serve in several different apostolates in the diocese. Sister Mary Regina has been working with the Little Flower Daycare Center for Catholic Social Services. Several of her young charges attended her final profession of vows with their parents.

The Mass was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lincoln, the Vietnamese language parish in Lincoln. In his homily, Bishop Bruskewitz noted, “Religious women are the image of the Catholic Church… the Bride of Christ.”

VOWS  - With the words, “…You are betrothed to the Eternal King…” Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz placed a ring on the finger of Sister Mary Regina, C.M.R.M. during the June 5 Mass for her perpetual profession of vows in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Lincoln.
