Sept. 19 in Grand Island:
SHOOT 4 LIFE Sporting Clays Tournament
A Benefit for Pro-Life Organizations in Nebraska
9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Heartland Public Shooting Park, Grand Island

Oct. 4 across the nation: Life Chain
Participants assemble in a peaceful and prayerful way to remind communities and leaders they care about the plight of unborn children slaughtered daily through abortion. All are welcome! Bring a lawn chair if you are unable to stand for an hour. Check with your local community for time and location.

Oct. 4 in Hastings:
A pork barbecue will be held Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (prior to the Life Chain) at the Adams County Fairgrounds. The event will benefit the Wellspring Pregnancy & Healthcare Center (Formerly WWW Hastings Pregnancy Resource Center). Inflatables and petting zoo included.  All are welcome. Free-will offering.

Oct. 5 in Beatrice:
The Pregnancy Resource Center of Beatrice will host Bobbi Richard as keynote speaker for the 2015 Fundraising for Life Banquet at the Holiday Inn Express in Beatrice. Social hour with live music beginning at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30, and program at 7:30. Tickets are $50. Table sponsorships are also available. Oct. 25 in Kearney:
The third annual ‘Central Nebraska Pro-Life Banquet’ will be held on campus at the University of Nebraska Kearney Student Union. Conceived through rape, speaker Rebecca Kiessling works to persuade others through her powerful personal testimony that all lives matter. Oct. 30-31 in Lincoln:
The annual Bishop’s Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities banquet and conference will be held in the Cornhusker Hotel. Themed, “Tribute to Dr. Jerome Lejeune,” the father of Modern Genetics, it will feature Dr. Pilar Calva, who will talk about Lejeune’s impact. Other speakers include William B.
