Magnificat event in Kearney Oct. 6

KEARNEY (SNR) – Kathy MacInnis, coordinator of the Magnificat Central Service Team, will present “Thy Will Be Done” for the Mary Full of Grace Magnificat chapter Thursday, Oct. 6

The event will be held at 6 p.m. in St. James Church, 3801 Ave. A, Kearney.

Kathy was recently elected coordinator of the Magnificat Central Service Team. She served for 15 years as assistant coordinator for Marilyn Quirk, founding coordinator of the worldwide ministry. In 1996, Kathy was the founding coordinator of the Magnificat-West St. Tammany Chapter in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. She is a wife, mother and grandmother. She was caregiver to her mother for 16 years, and also to her father-in-law for 24 years. Her testimony Oct. 6 will explain how, through the joys and challenges of her life, the Lord guided, molded and blessed her.

The cost to attend is $15, and reservations are required by Sept. 28 and may be made by phone to Marlene Rasmussen, 575-574-8183 or by mailing payment to her at 3415 W. 70th St.; Kearney, NE, 68845. In case of inclement weather, your payment will be considered a donation to Magnificat-Kearney. If a reservation is canceled, please consider sending a donation of $10 to cover the cost of the event.
Priests and religious may attend at no charge, but must pre-register.
