LOURDES CENTRAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL TEACHER NAMED OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR BY OMAHA PERFORMING ARTS’ NEBRASKA HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE AWARDS
STUDENTS SELECTED TO PERFORM IN ENSEMBLE SHOWCASE AWARDS SHOW
Omaha performing Arts is pleased to announce this year’s winners for the Annual Nebraska High School Theatre Awards program. Ms. Lesley Gould from Lourdes Central Catholic School has been named Outstanding Educator and will be honored at the Nebraska High School Theatre Awards Showcase on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 7:30pm at the Orpheum Theatre.
Lourdes Central Catholic School students, Piper Monson and Luke Partsch, have also been selected to perform in the Showcase Ensemble at the awards. Student performers will work with leading local musicians, professional music directors, and a NYC-based choreographer during the week leading up to the awards show.
Now in its fifth year, the Nebraska High School Theatre Awards program has expanded to include more than 70 schools from the entire state of Nebraska with more than 7,000 students participating this year. The Nebraska High School Theatre Awards (NHSTA) supports and celebrates musical theater education in Nebraska high schools.
