Clergy Appointments for the Diocese of Lincoln 2014

All appointments are effective June 16, 2014, unless otherwise noted
 
Pastors and Parish Administrators
 
Rev. David Bourek is appointed Pastor of Saint Catherine Parish, Indianola.
 
Rev. Thomas Kuffel is appointed Pastor of Saint Mary Parish in Wallace, Mother of Sorrows Parish in Grant, and Resurrection Parish in Elsie.
 
Rev. Dhanraj Marneni is appointed Parish Administrator at Saint Patrick Parish in McCool Junction, and Chaplain of the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) in York with residence at Saint Joseph Parish in York. 
 
Rev. Mark Pfeiffer is appointed Pastor of Saint John the Baptist Parish in Cambridge and Saint Germanus in Arapahoe.
 
Rev. Monsignor Daniel Seiker is appointed Parish Administrator of Saint Joseph Parish in Colon and Saint Mary in Cedar Bluffs.
 
Rev. Lawrence Stoley retaining his present assignments, is, in addition, appointed Parish Administrator of Saint Joseph Parish in Friend.
 
Rev. Steven Thomlison is appointed Pastor of Saint Stephen Parish in Exeter and Saint Wenceslaus in Milligan. He retains his appointments as Nebraska Army National Guard Chaplain and State Chaplain for the Nebraska State Patrol.*
 
Rev. Matthew Vandewalle is relieved of his appointment as Vice-Principal at Bishop Neumann Jr./Sr. High School in Wahoo and is appointed Pastor of Saint John Nepomucene Parish in Weston and Saint Vitus Parish in Touhy.*
 
Parochial Vicars
 
Rev. Craig Clinch is appointed Parochial Vicar at Cristo Rey Parish in Lincoln, to study Spanish in the Dominican Republic during the summer, and retains his assignments as teacher at Pius X High School and Advocate on the Tribunal. 
 
Rev. Thomas Schultes is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Patrick Parish in McCook, Saint Ann Parish in McCook, and Sacred Heart Parish in McCook (Hayes Center), while retaining his appointment as Advocate on the Tribunal.
 
Rev. Steven Snitily is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Peter Parish in Lincoln and is also to assist the Diocesan Tribunal and study languages beginning July 7, 2014.
 
Rev. Adam Sughroue is appointed Parochial Vicar at Saint Cecilia Parish, Hastings, teacher at Hastings Catholic Schools and retains his appointment as Advocate on the Tribunal.
 
Special Appointments
 
Rev. Matthew Eickhoff is relieved of his assignment as Director of Family Life and Evangelization, retains his pastorate of Holy Trinity Parish in Brainard and is appointed to continue graduate studies in order to complete his doctoral degree.
 
Rev. Christopher Goodwin, on September 2, 2014, will be released from the Diocese of Lincoln for service to the Apostolic Nunciature in Washington, DC, until that time he will assist with parish needs in the Diocese of Lincoln.
 
Rev. William Grant is appointed to Hispanic Outreach at Catholic Social Services with residence in Kucera Hall, Lincoln.
 
Rev. Andrew Heaslip is appointed the Diocesan Director of Religious Education and Diocesan Digital Media Coordinator, with residence at Saint Mary Parish, Lincoln. He will also begin the online Licentiate program in Sacred Theology through Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit, Michigan.
 
Rev. Sean Kilcawley is appointed Diocesan Director of the Office of Family Life and Evangelization, continues to serve as an Advocate on the Tribunal and is relieved of his assignments as Assistant Master of Ceremonies and Director of Religious Education.
 
Rev. Nicholas Kipper retaining his present assignments, is, in addition, appointed to be in residence at Saint Patrick Parish, Lincoln
 
Rev. Thomas McGuire is appointed to be a priest in residence at Saint Joseph Parish in Beatrice.
 
Rev. James Meysenburg retaining his present assignments, is, in addition, appointed to be in residence at Saint Joseph Parish, Lincoln.
 
Rev. Steven Mills, retaining his present assignments, is, in addition, appointed the Assistant Diocesan Master of Ceremonies.
 
Rev. Rafael Rodriguez-Fuentes, retaining his work with Hispanic ministry, is, in addition, appointed Assistant Dean of Men at Saint Gregory the Great Seminary with residence at the seminary.
 
Rev. Matthew Rolling is appointed to graduate studies in theology at the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies in Rome, Italy, with residence at Casa Santa Maria.
 
Msgr. Liam Barr, appointed Vicar for Development, in addition to his other duties.
 
Retirement/Relieved of Appointment
 
Rev. Rayappa Konka is relieved of his assignment as Parish Administrator of Saint John the Baptist Parish, Cambridge and Saint Germanus Parish, Arapahoe and will return to his home diocese in India on May 1, 2014.
 
Rev. Melvin Rempe will retire from active priestly ministry on June 9, 2014.
