Office for Evangelization

The Office for Evangelization supports, initiates, and develops opportunities to spread the Gospel at both the parish and diocesan level.  The primary goal of any effort is that souls may encounter Jesus Christ and experience living in relationship with Him.

Some areas impacted through the efforts of the office include: adult faith formation, evangelization, bible study, leadership training, and retreats.  The Catholic Coffee House series and the One Book One Diocese program are other annual offerings through the office. For more information about the office and its services please call 402-488-2040.

Mission

It is the call of every Christian, by virtue of their baptism to go forth and evangelize the world.  Therefore, the mission of the Office is two-fold.  The first portion is to spread the Gospel to all people, both the unbaptized and baptized, so that they may come to an encounter with Christ.  The other part is to support the efforts and spiritual life of the evangelized with the knowledge that the greatest opportunity for evangelization and discipleship happens in personal one-on-one relationships.
