Part-Time Kitchen Assistant Opening - Bonacum House
Bonacum House is seeking a dependable Kitchen Assistant for a part-time position (15-20 hours per week), Monday through Friday from 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Responsibilities include daily food preparation, dishwashing, serving lunch, kitchen cleanup, and light housekeeping. Applicants should have basic cooking and cleaning skills, be at least 19 years old, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with food preparation and other baking projects needed for the day.
- Ability to cook full meals if needed on occasion
- Wash the breakfast dishes and prepare the dining room for lunch.
- Help serve lunch, clean the kitchen before going home.
- Light housekeeping includes dusting, washing dishes, cleaning floors, and other cleaning projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 19 years of age
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

- Basic cooking skills
- Basic organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and reliability
- Productive and applicable cleaning skills
- The ability to use certain cleaning tools like vacuums, mops, cleaners, etc.
- Ability to lift to 30lbs.
- Active listening and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Annual Safe Environment training
