Iowa woman to speak at Magnificat brunch July 30

OGALLALA (SNR) - Thelma Meyers of Granger, Iowa, will be the featured speaker at the Magnificat brunch hosted by Our Lady of the Harvest Chapter, Saturday, July 30, at 9 a.m. (MDT).

The brunch will be served at Quality Inn, 201 Chuckwagon Rd., Ogallala, off the I-80 exit.

Thelma Meyers is a retired registered nurse and the mother of nine children. She is the spokesperson and personality for Mrs. Meyers cleaning products. She will speak on discipleship.

In the Ogallala area, those interested in registering may sign up at Ben Franklin Craft Store or Silver Thimble Sewing Center, both on North Spruce Street in Ogallala.  The registration deadline is Monday, July 25.

The purpose of Magnificat, a ministry to Catholic women, is to help Catholic women be open to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord, and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by love, service and sharing the good news of salvation.
