Reverend Nathan Hall is appointed pastor of North American Martyrs Parish in Lincoln. He is relieved of his assignment as advocate on the diocesan tribunal.
Reverend Corey Harrison is appointed pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Roseland, and Assumption Parish in Roseland (Juniata). He is also appointed teacher at St. Cecilia High School in Hastings. He is relieved of his assignment as advocate on the diocesan tribunal.
Reverend Jamie Hottovy is appointed pastor of Sacred Heart Parish and St. Stephen Parish in Lawrence, and Assumption Parish in Deweese. He retains his appointments as: member of the Diocesan Building Commission Adjunct Committee for Church Design and Renovation; and member of the Liturgical Commission.
Very Reverend Michael Houlihan is appointed pastor of St. Catherine Parish in Indianola. He is relieved of his assignment as dean of the Plattsmouth deanery.
Reverend Carson Kain is appointed pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish in Prague, and Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Plasi. He is also appointed teacher at Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo.
Very Reverend Bernard Kimminau is appointed pastor of St. Patrick Parish in McCook, St. Ann Parish in Rural McCook and Sacred Heart Parish in Rural Hayes Center.
Reverend Nicholas Kipper is appointed pastor of St. Teresa Parish in Lincoln and chaplain to the Sister Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration (“Pink Sisters”). He is released from his present assignments of: Moderator of the Curia; Director of Communications; and co-chaplain of Frassati young adult group.
Very Reverend Leo Kosch is appointed pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Beatrice. He is relieved of his assignment as dean of the Lincoln-Central deanery.
Very Reverend Christopher Kubat is appointed pastor of St. Andrew Parish in Tecumseh, and St. Mary Parish in St. Mary. He is also appointed as: chaplain to the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution; and to Hispanic Ministry in the Tecumseh area. He retains his assignment of national chaplain of the Catholic Medical Association. He is relieved of his assignment of Vicar for Health Care Ministries.
Reverend Randall Langhorst is appointed pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in North Platte.
Reverend Thomas Lux is appointed pastor of St. James Parish in Cortland. He retains his assignment as the spiritual advisor for the Lincoln Diocese Council of Catholic Women.

Very Reverend Rafael Rodriguez-Fuentes is appointed pastor of Cristo Rey Parish in Lincoln. He is released from his assignments of: Vicar for Hispanic Ministry, and Dean of Men of St. Gregory the Great Seminary.
Reverend Benjamin Rynearson is appointed pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Rulo, and St. Mary Parish in Arago. He is appointed Assistant Chief Administrative Officer of Sacred Heart High School in Falls City and teacher of the same school.
Reverend Adam Sughroue is appointed pastor of Presentation Parish in Bellwood, and St. Francis Parish in Center. He is to take up his residence at the Presentation Parish rectory. He retains his assignment of formation and mentoring of seminarians at St. Gregory the Great Seminary.
Reverend Monsignor Timothy Thorburn is appointed pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Lincoln. He is released from his assignments of: co-vicar for religious; board member of the Nebraska Catholic Conference; member of the Building Commission Adjunct Committee for Church Design and Renovation; and Judge on the Diocesan Tribunal. He retains his assignments of: Director of Calvary Cemetery; member of the Liturgical Commission; and adjunct spiritual director of St. Gregory the Great Seminary.

Senior Parochial Vicars / Senior Priest in Residence
Reverend Valerian Bartek is appointed senior parochial vicar of Sacred Heart Parish in Lincoln.
Reverend Stephen Cooney is appointed senior parochial vicar of St. Mary Parish in Lincoln. He is released from his present assignments of pastoral outreach to St. Elizabeth and Nebraska Heart Hospitals; and nursing home outreach in Lincoln. This assignment becomes effective December 1, 2022.
Reverend Thomas McGuire is appointed senior parochial vicar of St. Andrew Parish in Tecumseh and St. Mary Parish in St. Mary.
Reverend Monsignor Daniel Seiker is appointed senior priest in residence at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ; co-vicar for religious; and co-chaplain for the Legion of Mary.
Parochial Vicars
Reverend Anthony Bedient is appointed parochial vicar of Church of the Holy Spirit Parish in Plattsmouth, and teacher of Lourdes High School in Nebraska City. He retains his assignment as advocate on the diocesan tribunal.
Reverend Jason Doher is appointed parochial vicar of St. Peter Parish in Lincoln and co-chaplain for Frassati.
Reverend Christopher Miller is appointed parochial vicar of St. Patrick Parish in Lincoln and teacher at Pius X High School.
Reverend Brian Wirth is appointed parochial vicar of St. Peter Parish in Lincoln. He retains his present assignment of teacher at Pius X High School, Director of Rural Life in the diocese, and advocate on the diocesan tribunal. He is released from Hispanic Ministry in the Lincoln area.
Rev. Jude Asitha Hettiarachchi, a priest of the Archdiocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka has been loaned to the Diocese of Lincoln and has been appointed Parochial Vicar at North American Martyrs Catholic Church in Lincoln. This assignment is effective November 1, 2022.

Reverend Samuel Beardslee is appointed full-time teacher and co-chaplain at Pius X High School. He is released from his present pastoral obligations to St. Teresa Parish in Lincoln and assigned to be in residence at the same parish. He is relieved of his assignment as advocate on the diocesan tribunal.

Reverend Caleb La Rue is appointed Chancellor of the Diocese of Lincoln. He retains his residence at the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center in Lincoln. He is also appointed as: Secretary of the Board for the civil corporation of St. Gregory the Great Seminary; Chairman of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission; and member of the Diocesan Building Commission Adjunct Committee for Church Design and Renovation. He is released from his present assignment as Director of the Permanent Diaconate Program.
Reverend Robert Matya is appointed: Chaplain for Legatus; Director of Giving: Bishop’s Initiatives in the Diocese of Lincoln; and Chairman of the Bishop’s Annual Appeal for Vocations and Charity and Stewardship Appeal. He retains all other assignments.
Reverend Daniel Rayer is appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Diocese of Lincoln. He retains his residence at Kealy Hall in Lincoln and appointments as Judge on the Tribunal and as the bishop’s delegate for Camp Kateri. He is released from his present assignments of: Secretary of the Board for the civil corporation of St. Gregory the Great Seminary; Chaplain to the Congregation of Mary, Queen of Mercy; Chairman of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission; member of the Diocesan Building Commission Adjunct Committee for Church Design and Renovation. Effective September 1, 2022 to December 1, 2022 he is granted sabbatical. Effective December 1, 2022, he is appointed priest chaplain to St. Elizabeth and Nebraska Heart Hospitals, retaining all other assignments.
Reverend Cyrus Rowan is appointed to be in residence at St. Cecilia’s Parish in Hastings. He retains all other assignments.
Very Reverend Lawrence Stoley is appointed Assistant Chief Administrative Officer of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Lincoln, and Director of the Religious Education Office, with residence at St. Michael Parish in Lincoln. He is relieved of his present assignment of dean of the Falls City deanery.
Reverend Michael Ventre is appointed Chief Administrative Officer of Aquinas Middle-High School and Aquinas Catholic Elementary School in David City. He is assigned to be in residence at St. Mary Parish in David City.

Very Reverend Douglas Dietrich is released from his present assignment of pastor of St. James Parish in Cortland and is assigned to take up his residence at the John Paul II House. He retains all other assignments.
Very Reverend Jeremy Hazuka is released from his present assignment of co-chaplain for the Legion of Mary. He retains all other assignments.
Reverend Andrew Heaslip is released from the Diocese of Lincoln to serve Mount St. Mary’s Seminary as Formator and Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology. This assignment takes effect July 1, 2022.
Reverend Thomas Kuffel is released from the Diocese of Lincoln for service in the Archdiocese of Denver.
Reverend Karl Millis a priest incardinated in the Diocese of Cheyenne, Wyoming, is released from temporary service to the Diocese of Lincoln.
Reverend Justin Wylie a priest incardinated in the archdiocese of Johannesburg, South Africa, is released from temporary service to the Diocese of Lincoln.
Reverend Gregory Pawloski is relieved of his appointment as Pastor of St. Catherine Parish in Indianola and will retire from active ministry.
