The Catholic Diocese of Lincoln includes more than 130 parishes across 40 counties in southern Nebraska, serving 74,000 Catholics. These Register photos are from a Pontifical High Mass celebrated by Bishop James Conley for the first Sunday of Lent at St. Francis of Assisi Oratory in Lincoln.

The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) was invited to the Diocese of Lincoln in 1994, and purchased St. Francis Chapel from Lancaster County in 1998. Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz blessed and rededicated the building in 1999.
