It is the Green vs. the Blue! Cathedral’s Can Read Challenge has officially begun and this year the student Eagles are challenging the Lincoln Police Department to see who can read the most pages in one month. It will be a tough competition but one in which both teams are eagerly participating. The challenge began on September 3rd and will conclude on October 1st. At that time, a winner will be announced and a grand prize will be won. As of now, the prize is top secret but will be worth all of the effort.

This is Cathedral’s third year doing the Can Read Challenge and each year has been a success. Students are reading on the playground, in the car on their way to school, and in their free time. That is what the Challenge is all about, getting students hooked on reading!
