Coach Moore Honored for 700th Career Win and 25 Years as Pius X Head Varsity Volleyball Coach
Pius X volleyball players, coaches, students, parents, supporters, and fans gathered to congratulate Coach Jake Moore at the Omaha Burke match on Tuesday, October 21, after earning his 700th varsity coaching career victory. The win came at Omaha Burke when the Thunderbolts rallied for the victory in four sets. The volleyball team presented Coach Moore with a signed volleyball that he now proudly displays in his classroom. The fans held “700” signs and the team and coaches enjoyed eating “700 GRAND” candy bars on the bus ride home.
