St. Patrick Catholic School 4th grade teacher honored by Lincoln East Rotary Club as April’s Teacher of the Month
Mrs. Diane Neujahr the 4th grade teacher at St. Patrick Catholic School in Lincoln was nominated by her principal Mrs. Leah Bethune and two fellow teachers (Ms. Sarah Swim and Mrs. Abby Rezac) to be a recipient of the Teacher of the Month award from the Lincoln East Rotary Club. She was honored and surprised to find out from Father Schweiger that she was winner of the month of April at the all school Mass on Thursday, April 9th. She will be the guest of honor at a luncheon on May 6th put on by the Lincoln East Rotary Club along with her husband, Kevin, Father Schweiger, and Mrs. Bethune. This is Diane’s 10 year at the school and her 30th year in Catholic education!

- Mrs. Neujahr exemplifies solid instruction and has the ability to plan for the success of her students and make modifications and accommodations based on their various needs and abilities.
- I would not have survived this year as a first time principal without her help and guidance.
- She deserves to be recognized for her ability to grow, adapt, and learn even after 29 years of teaching.
- She is a team player who is willing to go above and beyond to help students as well as fellow teachers and staff, whether it is help students who need additional instruction before and after school, volunteering for school events and activities, or collaborating ideas with various grade level teachers.
- Having the ability to address each of her student’s unique talents and specific needs is something that is very special, and Diane is able to do this in an amazing fashion.
