Pius X Student Earns Junior Achievement Scholarship
Pius X senior Sarah Endacott has been awarded the Ken Carlson Scholarship from Junior Achievement® (JA) of Lincoln. She was chosen from amongst all participants, past and present. Endacott’s selection for the $1,000 scholarship was based on her record of academic success and achievement in the JA programs, future plans to pursue a business major in college, and a required essay. Junior Achievement at Pius X is sponsored by business teacher Mr. Ryan Psota.
Junior Achievement’s economic education programs have been offered to Lincoln-area high school students for more than 43 years. Through business efforts in partnership with education, JA empowers young people to own their economic success by educating and inspiring them to value free enterprise, understand business and economics, and be workforce ready. Nearly 700 business volunteers and 21,000 elementary, middle and high school students are annually involved in the JA program in more than 80 Lincoln-area public and parochial schools.
