Plattsmouth teacher receives STEM grant
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Omaha Chapter has awarded Mrs. Sandra Rhoades, 6th-8th grade science teacher at St. John the Baptist School in Plattsmouth, NE, $1,000 grant. The grant was based on Mrs. Rhoades experience as a science educator and the merit of her proposal to use the funds for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities in the classroom.
