“Unbound is a deliverance prayer ministry that focuses on people, not evil spirits. Unbound is a safe, loving and reproducible model that helps people respond to the good news of the gospel and apply the truth to their lives using the five keys.” (Heart of the Father website) Unbound Ministry is based on the idea that the gospel has the power to make a difference in a person’s life. It is a way of prayer, using the five keys, that empowers a person to open their hearts and respond more fully to Jesus’s invitation of abundant life. Unbound is essentially moving a person through a conversion experience. The five keys are:
Repenting of sin and expressing faith in Jesus.
Forgiving oneself and others.
Renouncing the lies, spirits, and tactics of Satan.
If you’d like to be prayed with using the Unbound Model of Deliverance ministry, read the first nine chapters of the book “Unbound” by Neal Lozano, or attend a local video series, weekend Retreat or 2-day Conference. The Unbound Video series is the Unbound Conference recorded for use by groups and individuals using Unbound Ministry. It is recommend to use the Unbound Freedom in Christ Workbook while watching the video series (or attending a retreat or conference).
2-Day Unbound Conference
This is a shortened version of the 8 week video series. The same content will be presented using videos & live presentations by members of the Unbound team. 2 Day conferences are held on Friday evening & all day Saturday.
Upcoming Unbound Events hosted by the Lincoln Unbound Ministry
The weekend retreats are for men and women of all ages. It is recommended to read the book or watched the video series before the retreat starts. There will be opportunities for praying the five keys with a prayer team at an Unbound Ministry Prayer Session after the Video Series or during the retreat.

History of Unbound in the Diocese of Lincoln
In the summer of 2014 the Archdiocese of Omaha hosted Neal Lozano and his team for an Unbound conference. Fr. Holoubek and some of the faithful of our diocese attended this conference and experienced a new freedom in Christ through the five keys. Then in the fall 2014, Fr. Holoubek led a video series at John XXIII with a small group that would become the beginning of a Lincoln Unbound Prayer Team. In February of 2015 and 2016 Fr. Holoubek gave an Unbound retreat at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly, Nebraska. The newly formed Lincoln Unbound prayer team with the help of the Omaha Unbound prayer team prayed for retreatants.
In 2016, the Diocese of Lincoln hired Matt Simmons to coordinate the Unbound Ministry in the diocese and work to expand it to serve the whole diocese. There are now prayer teams in Lincoln and Hastings, Nebraska, that serve the diocese in this work. The Lincoln Prayer team has now hosted several retreats, series, and weekend conferences helping many of the faithful of the diocese to experience freedom in Christ. The Hastings prayer team has found their niche doing 8-week series at St. Cecilia’s in Hastings. In 2021 Fr. Gary Coulter was appointed the director of Unbound in the Diocese of Lincoln.
The Unbound ministry in the Diocese of Lincoln has had a far reaching impact. Marg Noecker has spoken at the Unbound National Conference about her work using the keys in the classroom at school; Blanca Fowler and the Unbound team at Christo Rey accompanied Neal Lozano to Mexico to serve Hispanic populations; the Lincoln prayer team has helped to train prayer teams and assisted in the planting of new teams in Kansas; and the Lincoln retreats have been drawing people from across the country to experience freedom in Christ.
We believe the response of the faithful both in Lincoln and abroad has truly been Holy Spirit Driven. People just come. Why? Because Unbound works. One of the biggest problems in helping people with interior issues, is the fact that our world has become so secularized that we miss Satan being an active part of our interior problems. People are stuck even when seeking medical avenues of help. Whatever the issue, the demonic interference in our lives must be dealt with, and Unbound is a safe and easy way to pray and deal with these issues.
