All welcome at weekly pro-life Mass

LINCOLN (SNR) – Julia Nemec, Alex Pernicek and Addison Zook, students from Aquinas High School in David City, attended the weekly Mass at the Lincoln Right to Life Pro-Life Center Sept. 18 with their sponsor Karla Brezina.

Nemec and Zook brought up the gifts to celebrant Father Thomas MacLean and acolyte Bryan Van Deun.

Mass is celebrated in the center Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and all are welcome to participate. The rosary is recited at 9:30 a.m. outside Planned Parenthood across the street. Parking is available at Cornerstone Christian Church, 4849 Old Cheney Rd.

Lincoln Right to Life is a nonprofit organization representing all faiths. Members believe a person’s right to life begins at conception, and ends with his or her natural death. The group provides education and support for people who take an active role in changing the hearts and minds of those involved in, or considering, abortion.

The “40 Days for Life” campaign – praying for an end to abortion – is underway through Nov. 4.
