(SNR) – Nebraska Worldwide Marriage Encounter has finalized dates for the 2019 weekend experiences.
The Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend isn’t a retreat, a seminar or a counseling session, but rather an opportunity for married couples to rediscover how special they are to one another. The weekend is designed to help married couples communicate more intimately in order to deepen and enrich their relationship. The weekend is free from everyday routines, distractions and tensions. An atmosphere is created where the husband and wife can concentrate exclusively on each other in a private confidential environment. People of all faiths are welcome to attend.
Bruce and Veta Hungerford and Father Mark Pfeiffer invite married couples and priests to attend a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend. Father Pfeiffer, of St. Wenceslaus Parish in Wahoo, and the Hungerfords, were named to state leadership in July.
The 2019 weekends will be held Feb. 15-17 in Nebraska City at the Lied Lodge (Arbor Day Farm); March 29-31 in Hastings at the Comfort Inn; Aug. 2-4 in Lincoln at the Staybridge Suites; Oct. 18-20 in Chadron at the Holiday Inn Express.
The deadline to register for a Worldwide Marriage Encounter is one month prior to the date chosen. Space is limited at all locations so early registration is strongly encouraged. If the maximum number has been met, interested participants will be placed on a waiting list.
To register, go to www.wwme.org or call Pat and Janelle Benson (308)-940-1105) for more information.
