Next ‘Coffee House’ to be Dec. 16

LINCOLN (SNR) – Father Andrew Heaslip presented the first segment in the annual “Catholic Coffee House” Nov. 18.

The Catholic Coffee House is an annual series hosted by the Evangelization office in the fall and winter months.  The monthly event consists of a presentation by a guest speaker, a question-and-answer session, and time to socialize.  There is no fee and no registration. The events are held at the Guadalupe Center in Gianna’s Java and Gelato, 2241 O St., Lincoln.

The theme this year is “Navigating the Church Now.” Father Heaslip presented “Jesus the One Priest, Prophet, and King.”

The next event will be Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. Father Sean Kilcawley will present “Relationship, Transparency and Obedience.”

On Jan. 13 Ian Butler will present “The Necessity of Forgiving and How To Do It” and on Feb. 17, Matt Simmons will present “How to Live Prayerfully in Difficulty.” Each session is 90 minutes.
