‘Hear Ye! Hear Ye!’ Pius X choirs to present madrigal dinner show
LINCOLN (SNR/PX) – Tickets are on sale for the Dec. 13-14 holiday show “Renaissance Madrigal Dinner” presented by the vocal department of Pius X High School in Lincoln.
This unique Christmas concert and celebration will showcase the school’s choirs in a festive display of music and entertainment honoring the birth of Christ.
The interactive dinner theater event will feature a three-course meal with a “Wassail Toast,” trumpet fanfares, skits, and the musical talent of Pius X students. There are 255 students in the vocal music department at Pius X.
Tickets are available for two dinner shows at the St. Patrick School gym, 6111 Morrill Ave., in Lincoln: Saturday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. with “Sotto Voce,” “Spectrum” and “Cantabella” choirs performing; Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. with “Sotto Voce,” “Spectrum,” “Cantabella” and “Resonance” choirs performing. An additional Dec. 14 evening dessert show, including the “Pius X Singers,” has been sold out.

Kally Werning, a senior and member of “Sotto Voce,” will perform as the court jester in the madrigal dinner.
“There are surprises in every other line, and laughs are required,” she said. “The night will not be forgotten.”
