HOLDREGE (SNR) - All Saints Parish in Holdrege is planning its 15th annual “Blaze” event to benefit All Saints School Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Holdrege City Auditorium.
A live auction and dance will follow the banquet.
Bishop James Conley will be in attendance and addressing the gathering.
The parish will raffle the chance to have two seats at the head table with Bishop Conley, pastor Father Thomas Lux and other priests, for $50 per raffle ticket. There will be three total winners of this raffle (six total seats).
The theme of this year’s event is “Holy Hoedown,” The western event will feature live country band “Prairie Fire.” The meal will be catered by TP and Theresa Puls.
Guests will be seated at round tables. Those interested may purchase seats for $35 per seat, or an entire table of 10 for $400. Tables come with one free boot-glass per guest that can be filled with spirits for free once, and then refilled at a discount (there are limited quantities of boot glasses, so purchasing a table will guarantee that a purchaser’s guests receive one).
Families and businesses that buy tables will be recognized.
Additional raffles from past years include the $1,000 Bruce’s Furniture certificate ($5 each or six for $25) and the Rifle Raffle (only selling 100 tickets, for $20 each; first-come, first-serve).
