Day of prayer, healing at St. Joseph in Lincoln June 17

LINCOLN (SNR) – All are invited to experience a day of prayer and healing with Dr. Margarett Schlientz June 17 at St. Joseph Church, 1940 S. 77th St., Lincoln.

The event is sponsored by the St. Benedict Prayer Team. Father Christopher Barak is the spiritual director.

The day begins with Mass at 8:15 a.m. Coffee and rolls will be served at 9 a.m. and the talks begin at 9:30. It closes at 3:30 p.m.

Dr. Margarett is the assistant director at the Institute for Priestly Formation at Creighton University, where she teaches and ministers to diocesan seminarians in an intensive 10-week spiritual renewal program each summer. Committed to the ministry of healing, she has taught numerous workshops throughout the world aiding clergy and laity in the ministry of healing and deliverance.

She has been giving talks and lectures for the past 20 years to a multitude of various groups, as well as giving parish missions, retreats and conferences.
