It considers the meaning of the word Catholic, how one can be in full communion with the Catholic Chruch, and how that relates to salvation. Further, it demonstrates how the Church is built on the foundation of the Apostles, how it maintains and shares the Apostles' teaching, and how apostolic succession is continued through the pope and bishops.
